Giuseppe VERDI: "La forza del destino" Overture
Peter Ilyich TCHAIKOVSKY: Piano concerto No.1
Hector BERLIOZ: Symphonie fantastique Op.14

It was my first trip to Praha, and the purpose of this visit was to listen Ms Tomomi Nishimoto's first concert in Europe except Russia there.

Praha was beautiful and lovely city with atmosphere, and in this term, Proms music festival was held in the Smetana Hall, etc.

The Smetana Hall is historic and prestigious, which is in so graceful and magnificent building of the Municipal House.

I think "Symphonie fantastique Op.14" was best in this concert. It was just Tomomi's music, I felt. The audience must have been impressed very much because they gave her a standing ovation.

You can enjoy this concert except TCHAIKOVSKY and her interview (in Japanese) in this DVD.

I visited the Charles Bridge several times, the Smetana Museum, etc. Also I did a Moldau sightseeing cruise and enjoyed an opera; "Don Giovanni" in the Estate Theatre during this stay. This is very classical opera house and it was so precious experience for us, because there is no such traditional opera theatre in Japan.

I like Praha, so I would like to visit there again someday in the future.

After this concert, maestro Tomomi Nishimoto conducted the concert tour in Japan with CZECH NATIONAL SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA.
